Agent Deck runs entirely on your own computer. There is no account, no server of ours, and no analytics.

What the plugin receives

Claude Code sends lifecycle events to a small forwarder script that Setup installs. The forwarder posts each event to the plugin over a connection that never leaves your machine.

Those events are Claude Code's own payloads. They identify the project directory and the kind of activity, and depending on the event they can also carry the text you typed or a tool input such as a file path or a shell command.

The plugin reads only the fields it needs to paint a key: the project, the event type, the tool name, the permission mode, and whether a session is waiting for you. The rest is ignored. Nothing is written to disk, and nothing is transmitted anywhere.

Session state lives in memory and is gone when Stream Deck closes.

The local connection

On macOS the plugin listens on the loopback address, reachable only from your own computer.

On Windows it listens on all interfaces, because Claude Code running inside WSL sits in a separate network namespace and cannot otherwise reach it. Requests are accepted only from loopback and private address ranges, and only when they carry a token the plugin generates on first run.

Analytics and cookies

None. The plugin contains no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party code that phones home.

Purchases

Agent Deck is sold through the Elgato Marketplace. Elgato processes the payment and holds the purchase record. Barbanson Data Solutions never sees your payment details.

Legal basis and your rights

No personal data is collected, so there is nothing to store, export or erase. Under the GDPR you keep the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. If you believe we hold data about you, write to the address below and we will answer within thirty days.

Children

Agent Deck is a developer tool and is not directed at children under sixteen. It collects nothing from anyone.

Terms of Use

Agent Deck is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for how you use the plugin and for your own backups. Setup modifies configuration files in your home directory and in your editor. It backs up what it touches and can remove its changes, but keeping your own copies remains your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agent Deck and Barbanson Data Solutions are not liable for loss of or damage to data, nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the plugin.

Agent Deck depends on software published by others, including Stream Deck and Claude Code. Changes to those products may affect how it works. No affiliation with, or endorsement by, Elgato or Anthropic is claimed.

Purchases are made through the Elgato Marketplace and are subject to its terms and its refund policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.
