One page, one order flow
The pitch, the contents, the audience and the order form sit on a single scrolling page, so nothing stands between a reader and the order.
The ordering page for a Dutch practical guide to using AI at work.

Bas Bogaards had written a practical guide to AI and needed somewhere to sell it. The book wanted a page of its own: one that explains what is inside, carries the price and the ISBN, and takes orders directly, with no shop platform and no database to maintain behind it.

The pitch, the contents, the audience and the order form sit on a single scrolling page, so nothing stands between a reader and the order.

A short form takes name, address and quantity, then hands a fully written order to the customer's own email client. No checkout to run, no database, no card data held anywhere.

Book, FAQ and website structured data, an llms.txt file and explicit crawl permission for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, so assistants describe the book accurately.

Warm near black paper, gold foil accents, Spectral and Archivo type, a drop cap, and a cream panel that turns the page halfway down.

AVIF and WebP images, a prioritised cover, immutable caching for static files and cookieless analytics, with real user Core Web Vitals reported from production.
Next.js 16 with the App Router, Tailwind and Framer Motion, deployed on Netlify. Every line of Dutch copy lives in one constants file, so the author can change any text without touching a component, and a second language would slot in without a rewrite. Ordering was deliberately kept out of a payment platform: for one book at one price, handing a written order to the customer's mail client costs nothing to run and keeps card data out of the project entirely. Animation respects prefers-reduced-motion.
The book has a page of its own to send readers to, and every order arrives as a structured email the author can fulfil directly, with no platform fees and nothing to administer between the reader and the sale.
